We Went Bowling

This is a backdated post. These past few days we were busy running errands; got my passport renewed, Hubby got his driving license renewed and applied for an international driving license, and did some banking too. We didn't really go anywhere.

Last Sunday, we went to Sunway Pyramid. We had our lunch at Dragon-I then we proceeded to the Bowling centre coz Hubby wanted to renew his snooker locker.

While waiting for Daddy, Gwen wanted to get a closer look at the bowling alley. We sat down and watched people play bowling.

When Hubby was done and came to meet us, we were thinking to leave the place but Hubby suggested we play a round of bowling. I was itching to play too..hehe..so we went and bought socks coz we were definitely not prepare for this..hehe..it was an impromptu plan. We booked for one game. Gwen was very well behaved..she even cheered for us. :)

I never expected that we could play bowling with Gwen around but luckily Gwen enjoyed watching us play. That's good coz we might do this more often in the future..hehe.

After our outing at Sunway Pyramid, we went to Puchong Batu 14 for Yong Tau Foo. Hubby's friend brought him there once and he said the Yong Tau Foo is really good! Somehow Hubby didn't remember the place and we went around the area for awhile before we found the place.


The crowd was overwhelming. It was jam packed with patrons the whole time we were there.


The best Yong Tau Foo I've ever eaten although the restaurant and the surrounding area is not that inviting and messy too.

Our Saturday Was Movie Day

We were at IOI Mall last Saturday. Our plan was to watch The Princess And The Frog at GSC. We had our late lunch at TGIF.

Hubby's Jack Daniel's Steak. It was absolutely delicious and the meat was so tender. I would definitely order this next time. :)

Gwen was enjoying her food. She fed herself and only asked me to feed her the last few spoonfuls..haha.


Oh my..Gwen managed to finish the spaghetti all by herself! Haha...what a mess. :P

We went to Brands Outlet again. I wanted to buy T-shirts for my nephews and saw a cute Dora cap..so I bought the cap for Gwen. -_-


Put it on for her straight away..hehe. It's RM30+. :)


Gwen's signature pose again..haih..she couldn't stand straight..she just love to twist her body like that. LOL.

We spent several hours at the mall before the movie starts. Gwen truly enjoyed the movie and of course the pop corns and drinks too..haha. She sat quietly watching the movie. :)


The tricks to make her stay seated during the movie are pop corns and drinks..hehe..it works. :P

After the movie ended, we went to Popular and bought lots of books for Gwen.

Christmas Day

Hubby is back since Christmas eve for a 10 days long leave from work. :D On Christmas afternoon, we went to Sunway Pyramid again..hehe. As usual, we just walked around the mall and did some shopping.

I just wanted to post some photos of Gwen taken outside Sunway Resort and Spa Hotel for remembrance. :)

We were invited to my BIL's (Hubby's elder bro) house for a Christmas dinner. Both my BIL and SIL single-handedly prepared all the wonderful dishes for this special occasion. Gwen enjoyed the spaghetti very much. :)

My Christmas Pressie ^_^

My Hubby has been offering to get me a new pair of sunglasses coz he thinks I don't own a decent pair of sunglasses..LOL. I had a pair of big sunglasses which I bought from Vincci..hehe..very cheap..less than RM20. I've turned him down several times coz I was lazy to go around shopping for sunglasses (what kind of excuse is that huh..haha).

Several weeks ago, Hubby asked me again..oklah went to Focus Point and started browsing on sunglasses. I've tried on so many pairs of sunglasses but none suited me. You see I have a flat bridge and finding a suitable sunglasses that fits comfortably is not as easy as it seems.

From low end brands to designer brands..not one I like. Finally, the salesman showed me this particular brand which most ladies would be happy to own one (exaggerate a bit). :P This pair of sunglasses suited me well and best of all it's not touching my cheeks (all other brands do. Blame it on my flat nose).

The store was having sale but this brand that I like wasn't offering any discount. Luckily, the salesman was kind enough to offer a 10% discount (better than nothing). :D Ended up my Hubby burnt a big hole in his pocket..hahaha.

Here's my new sunglasses. My little model looks better than me in the new sunglasses..haha.


I think she looks cute..haha.


I don't like the big wordings but this is the only pair that suits me. :)

Feeling Much Better

Thank you everyone, for your well wishes. Gwen's fever only lasted 1.5 days. No more fever since Sunday. *phew* She had diarrhea yesterday but after taking the medicines precribed by her Paed on her previous visitation to the Paed's clinic, her condition is much better now. She is still having mild tummy aches but her tummy is not bloated anymore. :D I didn't give her any milk today. I bought probiotics from the pharmacy as suggested by some of you lovely mummies. :) Thanks.

Let me swing to what we did on last Sunday..hehe. As Gwen was not feeling well, we went to IOI Mall which is a short distance from our house. As usual, I went to Brands Outlet again..hehe.

Suddenly, I've developed an obsession for Hello Kitty. =.= Saw this cute pack of Hello Kitty Panty Pack at RM19.90.


Gwen likes them too. Playing throw and catch with Daddy using the panty pack at the store. *hide face*

We stumbled upon a shop called Stroller World at the new wing. They are selling kids/babies stuff. I saw some interesting toys..something like ELC. Toys made of wood and from China. The quality is very good and the material/paint are non toxic. And cheap too. It's a very popular brand in China (according to the promoter).


Bought this for RM35.90. Good for hand coordination skill. I tell you, when Gwen first time playing with it..she couldn't hit the balls properly..haha.

Gwen's Hello Kitty Crocs..Nice, But Fever Not Nice

Ever since the food poisoning case, Gwen has been experiencing stomach aches which come and go. Last night she complained about stomach ache. And when I touched her forehead, it felt a little bit warmer than usual. She has mild fever. I gave her some fever medicine in the middle of the night and her fever subsided this morning.

Although she has mild fever, she is still very active and talking like normal. So, we decided to go Sunway Pyramid in the evening around 4PM. The traffic was chaotic at Sunway so we just parked our car somewhere nearby the mall.

Hello Kitty is having some kind of roadshow at Sunway Pyramid with stalls selling Hello Kitty merchandises. What attracted me the most was the Hello Kitty Crocs coz they are having 30% discount.

Finally, I bought a pair of genuine Crocs for Gwen..haha. The Hello Kitty Crocs is selling at RM90.30 after 30% discount. You also get to take a pic with Hello Kitty and friends for free. Right after the photo was taken, we went home straight away coz Gwen's fever and stomach ache came back again.


Gwen is still active eventhough she is not feeling well.

Christmas Gathering On 17-12-2009

Gwen and I were at Mid Valley today for a Christmas gathering with Judy, Mummy Moon and Cynthia. We were to meet at Kenny Rogers for lunch at 11 am. Gwen and I reached there a bit late. So, we quickly ordered our meal. Not long after that Cynthia arrived too.

After our lunch, we proceeded to Mid Valley's Center Court for our Photo Session With Santa Claus. ^_^ By then, Gwen has already warmed up to Terry (Judy's little boy) and Yan Yan (Mummy Moon's little girl). People were lining up to take photos with Santa already. As Gwen is afraid of Santa Claus, I was worried she would run away and make a fuss at the photo session. Luckily after some coaxing, she obliged and finally we had our photo taken with Santa (not as brave as Yan Yan though who sat on Santa's lap!). Gwen stood beside me and Santa's pretty helper. LOL.
