Our One Day Trip To Bandung

Hubby suggested that we go to Bandung for a one day trip during the weekend. Bandung is only 2 hours drive from Jakarta..so I thought why not..hehe. So, yesterday together with Hubby's Thai friend, we drove down to Bandung.

Hubby's been to Bandung for meetings before but not staying over though. None of us including our driver know how to get around in Bandung. We started our journey to Bandung around 9 a.m.

On our way to Bandung. Bandung here we come...

We reached Bandung already. :)

Once we reached Bandung, we managed to find our way to our first factory outlet which was The Heritage. Hubby bought a few T-shirts here and 2 tops for Gwen. Nothing fancied me here..haha. We quickly bought a map from a street vendor near the entrance of The Heritage.

Entrance to The Heritage.

Gwen outside The Heritage. I just trimmed her fringe last week. ^_^

With the help of the map, we walked further down the street to The Summit Boutique Outlet. Didn't find anything we like except for our friend. She bought a top here. :) After visiting only two factory outlets, we were hungry and had our lunch at a place called The Nyonya Rumah.

Nothing Nyonya about the food here..haha. The food and price was ok. Nothing to shout about.

The ambience.

Hubby's nasi uduk.

Our friend's lontong and satay.

My so-called Nyonya fried rice.

Chicken Satay.

Peanut sauce for the satay.

Gwen enjoying her Ice Lemon Tea.

After our late lunch, we didn't have much time to spare so we decided to proceed to Rumah Mode. Because of some misleading information from the locals here, we ended up in Paris Van Java..LOL. We didn't have much time to explore this place coz our objective was Rumah Mode.

Paris Van Java. SOGO and Carrefour are there. Lots of F&B outlets too.

We left Paris Van Java in a hurry and finally we found Rumah Mode. This was our last stop and we bought most of our stuffs here. ^_^ Seriously, I am not a shopaholic but when you are in Bandung, you just have to shop..hehe. I don't think we bought a lot though. :P

Yay..we were at Rumah Mode.

We spent about 2 hours at Rumah Mode. Weekends are crowded here. Rumah Mode is one of the popular factory outlets in Bandung. Hubby suggested we find our way to The Valley for our early dinner. The Valley is at the top of the hill so the weather is quite cooling there. We could see Bandung city from here. Nice view.

Our dinner. The food was good.

Our friend had the Chicken and Prawns set.

Hubby's Hawaian Steak.

My Chicken Butterfly (shared with Gwen).

Our family photo. ^_^

Ok..time to go home after dinner. We headed home around 7 PM. Everyone zonked out in the car..hehe. We reached home around 9 PM.

Here is our loot from our Bandung shopping trip.

Hubby chose all the tops except for the red long sleeve top. Hubby and his friend took care of Gwen while I shop for my stuff..hehe.

Guess jeans and Oshkosh shorts for Gwen.

Tops for me.

I bought a pair of Versus jeans. It's only RM70+.

Nike shirt for Hubby.

Another Nike shirt for Hubby.

Burberry shirt for Hubby.

A Giorgio Armani tie for Hubby.
