Taman Safari Indonesia - Part 3 (Final)

We were finally at the end of our safari trail after sitting in the car for almost 1.5 hours (minus the 2 hours travelling from Jakarta to Bogor). We reached an area where all the activities, restaurants/cafes, an amusement park, a water park, the baby zoo, etc are located here.

After our toilet breaks, we had our lunch at a cafe. I would say this was the highlight of our safari tour coz we get to take photos with the wild animals..I mean really close. The experience is unforgettable. ^_^ Gwen enjoyed riding on the back of a pony and the camel too.

We saw some elephants. The park attendants were very friendly and helpful. They told us to come over to this particular elephant and they instructed the elephant to stay still so we could stand beside it and take pictures.

The staffs were showing Gwen how to hold the elephant's trunk.

So cute...haha.

Our one and only family photo. We were at the cafe having lunch.

The rest of our gang.

The price for animal rides and photo taking is very reasonable. Only Rp 10,000 (around RM3+) per ride/photo taking.

Gwen first ever ride on a pony.

The staff stopped the pony several times for us to take pictures.

Another photo with the pony.

After the ride we proceeded to the Baby Zoo. We started with the Birds Of Paradise area first.

Some fo the birds.

We were at the Baby Zoo. We were greeted by 2 Bengal tigers in their own enclosure.

Ok..this one was the most anticipated moment. Taking pictures with the wild animals. I like the fact that you take your own photos with the animals. Just ask your friends or family to take pics for you. :) But we do need to pay Rp 10,000 to get close to the animals.

Would you like to hold this lion cub and take pic with him? We didn't coz he was having a bad mood..hehe. The lion cub had a good whack from the trainer for misbehaving...poor little fella. :(

We didn't go near this tiger cub either. Actually, I didn't want to take the risk in case the animal strikes so it's a big NO NO to let Gwen go near them.

But this leopard was very calm and relax. Hubby said the leopard was quite heavy. Awesome experience.

Gwen and I took pic with the baby orang utan. Surprisingly, the baby orang utan smells really good. Gwen was afraid of the baby orang utan...hehe.

Next we went to the Kangaroo enclosure.

Daddy and Gwen riding on a camel.

So high...

We only get to watch the Cowboy Show that day and we missed all the animal shows. Also we didn't have time to visit the Crocodile Park, The Primate Centre and some other areas too.

Finally, a souvenir for Gwen coz she really wanted it.
