Oh No...
After coughing for more than 3 weeks...and still not fully recovered yet, Gwen is having fever now! At approximately 7.30pm just now, I touched Gwen's arm and it felt really warm. She was sitting at the dining table watching You Tube. Gwen was watching a South American folklore story called Rainbow Bird.
Her fever was very high...39.4 C! Darn! Just this morning we were at Plaza Sentral for Gwen's Graduation Day performance rehearsal and she was coughing really badly (with lots of phlegm). Somehow, I sensed she isn't feeling well. She was complaining about tummy ache, tiredness and she felt cold (the air conditioning was really cold..brrr).
I gave her some fever med and her fever has gone down...37.4 C as of now (2243 JKT time).
Can my day get any worse? Yes...my Hubby is in Malaysia now attending his company's workshop! No problem I can still manage but this is really a bad timing. Gwen's Graduation Day is this Friday (Daddy will be missing this special event coz he will only be back next Monday!)
And I seriously doubt if Gwen could attend her Graduation in 2 days time! Tomorrow, I will have to bring her to the hospital...Please get well soon, Gwen. I hope it's not a lung infection..Pray!!!!
Luckily, I went to see her rehearsal and got some pictures and videos taken while she was practising her dance, drama and singing performances. Too bad she won't be able to attend her Graduation this Friday. :(

Oh dear....hope Gwen is ok. Nothing a does of antibiotics cannot get rid of.
Respiratory illnesses are so bad these days. Do take care. It's tough without hubby.

Take the whole day of today for her to rest, feed her more fluid. I hope she will be up and running tomorrow for her graduation concert. Not too worry.

Heard one remedy for cough. Double boil an orange then drink the water. Said can cure cough. I yet to try

oh no..she will be fine..not to worry.it must be hard since u are the only one left in jakarta. i think u should see your regular doctor first for second opinion before going to the hospital.

It is really tough when our kids fall sick! Poor dear... almost 3 weeks...still have to prolong some more!
And its also tough when you have to handle alone.
Hope Gwen is fully recovered by now. My boy also cough with lotsa phlegm + fever (38C for the highest) abt 3 weeks ago, I feed him honey twice a day (besides medicine) & it's so effective, get well within 1 week. So you may try to give Gwen honey too :-)

Take care, Gwen and speedy recovery! As for me, I have been coughing for about 2 mths already with sore throat that fluctuates in intensity, has stuffy nose plus fever at the beginning. Recently my son caught the same thing too. Now everyone at home is coughing.
How is Gwen now? I hope everything is well.. :(

Hello mommy, hope everything's fine at your end. I'm so sorry to hear about this but am still hoping Gwen was able to join her Graduation Day. I guess she was under stress.
Graduation day or Recognition Day here in the Philippines falls on March and Chloe always got sick on that month. That's why I make sure not to let Chloe do a lot of activities on that month. Sometimes, I don't let her join on some rehearsals if she's started coughing or refuse any invitation which requires physical activities so that she won't be able to miss her big day.
Anyway, Congrats to Gwen for graduating in Preschool and congrats to her proud mommy for a job well done ;-)

I am so worry when you mentioned lung infection... *sigh*... coz my boy been coughing like almost 2 mths.. comes and goes.. ayaa.. me so worry now.. ~.@
