Pneumonia
Note : Just a short update as I'm blogging using my iPhone. I didn't bring my laptop with me as I was expecting a very short holiday in KL and things did not turned out as planned. Will visit all your blogs once I got my laptop this weekend.
--------------------------------------
We arrived from Jakarta to KL last Wednesday around 11pm. We brought Gwen to the hospital the following day as she was still having cough and phlegm during that time.
The Paed wanted to have a chest X-ray done on Gwen. We brought Gwen to the Radiology dept for the X-ray.
Our hearts dropped to the floor when the Paed told us that Gwen's right lung has pneumonia!
Gwen needs to be admitted to the hospital immediately for 5 days.
Gwen was admitted last Thursday (2nd June 2011) and she has been discharged on Monday yesterday. She stayed for 4 days in the hospital.
Gwen is ok now. I didn't here anymore chesty noise today!
Hubs already flew back to Jakarta yesterday morning and Gwen and I had to cancel our flights and we will be staying in KL until July 9. Gwen is having a long summer holiday now.
Some photos taken using my iPhone. Most photos were taken using my digicam. Will blog in more detail soon when I have the chance.

Gwen got used to her needle pricked hand for Antibiotic administration thru IV.

The machine used for the IV.

Nebulizer 3 times a day everyday.

Finally, Gwen was all smile when she was discharged yesterday.
Medication to be taken at home.
