A Letter For Gwen
Gwen was back to school on Tuesday after the one week holiday break. She didn't go to school on Monday coz we just flew back from KL to Jakarta on the same day.
When I fetch her from school on Tuesday, one of the teachers informed me that Gwen got a letter from her classmate. It turned out that Vincent (the boy who used to irritate Gwen) wrote a letter to Gwen and all the teachers even the principal knew about it...LOL.
When we reached home, I asked Gwen to show me the letter. She rummaged through her school bag and handed over a small envelope.
Can't believe a 5 year old could come up with this..LOL.
Now, lets see what's in the envelope. There were two small pieces of paper.
"Letter" No. 1. *speechless*
"Letter" No. 2. I think this note is for me..haha.
This incident really caught me by surprise. Vincent suddenly became a caring and sweet boy. He was the one who started the "spider-thingy" and irritated Gwen to the max. Actually, I did talk to Vincent's mum (she is also my friend) and she related back the things she said to her son to me. My friend advised her son that he should protect Gwen from the bullies and be nice to Gwen.
This wasn't the first time Vincent was told by his mum to be nice to Gwen coz both of them just cannot see eye to eye and sometimes Gwen ended up in tears.
According to my friend, she did not teach her son to write this letter to Gwen. He came up with the idea himself..LOL.
But I can see with my own eyes Vincent has been nicer to Gwen after the long school holiday...haha. Gwen even said Vincent played with her in school since Tuesday which he never did before that.
And you know what happened today. This one was really unexpected lah. As usual, I was in the Library (all the kids will wait for their parents or nannies in the Library to pick them up after school) to choose a book for Gwen.
Vincent was beside Gwen showing her a toy parakeet and all of a sudden he gave her a big and tight hug and said "I Love You"! The teacher and me heard it and both of us laughed so loud.
While in the car on our way back home, both of them were showing each other their Animal Kaiser cards collection. Well, that's something they have in common..LOL. Gwen's interest in animals is so strong that she loves playing Animal Kaiser now! *slap forehead*

So glad there's a happy ending. From bully to protector and now boy fren..*wink* hehe. Mummy has nothing to worry about now...Btw, Vincent can really express himself well for a 5 yr old. Cute notes!
lol! They are so cute. Why not have Gwen to reply him a thank you letter? Just to make their friendship stronger.

This is so cute! Letters, hugs and I Love Yous at age 5! Don't be surprise if Vincent kisses Gwen one day haha :p

From my own experience, boys normally likes to bully girls they hv inclination to! Hehe... happy 4 Gwen too!
There used to be a boy who enjoyed bullying me day to night during my school days, but after we graduated frm high school, I received a sms frm him, saying he actually likes me a lot, lol!
hahaha, I'm so amused! But I really find it cute.. even the mom got a letter.. welcome to the 21st century, haha :))

hahahahaha ..... so sweet. Is that consider a good sign that Vincent has finally realised the importance of Gwen and never bully her again? kekekeke .... kids are so sweet.
