A Special Day

1st October is a special day for us (Hubby and I) coz it's our birthdays and also our wedding anniversary. ^_^ I want to shout out a BIG THANK YOU to all the birthday wishes showered on my FB wall from friends/blogger friends and family members. :D

We were back in KL during the weekend for the celebration and also slowly moving some of our stuffs back from Jakarta to KL.

I actually bought a buffet package for two from Groupon few weeks ago. The original price for the buffet was RM96 per pax...I think I paid half the price for the deal..sorry I can't remember. :P

The downside of sharing the same birthday with your other half is.."it's not easy to surprise your spouse on that special day"..LOL.

The venue was at The Taman Sari Brasserie restaurant, Hotel Istana.



















The food at Taman Sari was so-so only and not much varieties to choose from. On special occassions like this I would not go for cheap deals anymore. We were seated at a corner with our table against a wall...it looked really out of place.

The happiest person on our birthdays was our precious Gwen of course. I allowed her to have cakes, chocolates and ice creams that day. :)

As usual, we have our own cake cutting celebration at home.

My first LV collection.

My sister's husband went to Stuttgart, Germany for a business trip 2 months ago and my sis asked me whether I want to buy a Longchamp or not. I only wanted the Le Pliage shopper in the first place. But Hubby insisted I get something more luxurious.

Well, he said this will be my birthday/anniversary gift so after some research and consideration (very last minute)....I finally decided on this...


The Galliera PM. The bag looks stunning on Gwen too. I haven't used it yet...so sayang to use hehe..afraid I might dirty it or my bag got stolen. Yeah..I think too much.-___-

I'm not into luxury handbags actually but it's so worth to buy from Europe coz it's so much cheaper compared to Malaysia.

I got a consolation prize as well coz I bought the Le Pliage shopper too.


It's my everyday bag now. I love it. The purple one is a bag organizer. As the Le Pliage only has one small side pocket, the bag organizer is awesome. I got mine from Gin and Jacqie.
